Campus

Located in the sprawling University campus spread over 60 acre area, the Institute provides the students with various academic and related modern resources to facilitate better learning. The Institute has its own spacious building with four multistoried wings consisting of a large number of well-furnished classrooms, faculty chambers, administrative block, library, auditorium, conference hall and two computer centres, besides a well-equipped audio-visual library.

Library

The library is well stocked and has a select collection of over 35,000 volumes in the fields of management, computer applications, healthcare administration, economics, behavioral sciences, travel, tourism and related areas. The library is the focal point of academic pursuit in the Institute and is capable of serving more than 150 students at a time. The library at present subscribes to more than 180 Indian and foreign journals and periodicals besides 50 Indian and current corporate periodicals. The library also shelves current corporate annual reports, project reports and government publications.

Computer Centre

The Institute has its own computer centre with state-of-the-art computing facilities, comparable to the best in the country. The facilities include: Three servers running on Windows NT, UNIX, and Novell environment, Sixty pentiums interconnected through LAN,  scanners, printers and Internet facilities. CD-ROM facility linkages in association with INSDOC, AIMA, British Institute of Management etc. and networking and exchange of information through INFLIB network is proposed. The students can also avail the facilities of the University Computer Centre.

Auditorium

IMS Auditorium, inaugurated by the then Governor, Mohd. Shafi Qureshi, is one of the best in Indore with excellent acoustics and sufficiently large seating capacity. This air-conditioned Auditorium reflects an excellent work of modern architecture. The then President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma and some of the most eminent personalities from the industry and academics have addressed the student community in this Auditorium.

University

Devi Ahilya University was established in 1964 at Indore, the largest industrial and business hub of Central India. The university is a state university supported both by the Madhya Pradesh Government and the University Grants Commission.

Devi Ahilya University is incorporated in the Commonwealth Year Book. The University Grants Commission has selected Devi Ahilya University as one of the Top Ten National Universities of India. The Government of Madhya Pradesh has declared Devi Ahilya University as a Model University. It has been bestowed with"THE CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE" award by the government of Madhya Pradesh.

The university has more than 21 teaching departments imparting education in frontline areas of Physical & Biological Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Management and the Humanities. There are more than one hundred and seventy five faculty members actively involved in multi-disciplinary programs.

The university serves approximately 10,000 students at 2 anchor campuses in Central Indore and Southeast Indore. Devi Ahilya University provides highest quality educational experiences and opportunities to its students. The Taxila Campus of Devi Ahilya University houses most of the academic departments. It was established in 1966, after the Indo-Pak War of 1965 to draw the youth and channelise their energy into constructive growth.

Selection Process & Admission Procedure

Eligibility : Graduate with 55%marks in graduation and above in any discipline.

Entrance Exam:  MPMJET(MadhyaPradesh Management Joint Entrance Test)conducted by Madhya Pradesh government - Professional Examination Board.,Bhopal. for all management schools in the state.
Entrance Exam is followed by Group discussion and Personal Interview.
